Spherical roller bearings
Spherical roller bearings are used in electric motors when very high radial and axial loads have to be supported.
Spherical roller bearings are not greased and normally not sealed. Special designs, however, are available with seals. Spherical roller bearings can be lubricated using oil or grease. For vertical axes, they are usually greased with oil.
