Wheel bearings - 2nd generation
Wheel bearing design with ball bearings or tapered roller bearings and integral wheel flange. The compact design enables the bearing to be easily fitted. The bearing units have preset internal clearance, are supplied greased for life and have integrated seals.
For fixing on the static axle body in powered wheel units, the inner rings rotate and the outer ring does not.
For units that are not powered and for supporting the brake disc and rim, the outer ring rotates and the inner rings do not.
